Leader of the league versus the Polish champions - the game needed no additional recommendation. Everyone expected a great duel, but what happened in the Netto Arena exceeded the wildest expectations.
Anwil reduced the 16-point difference and took the game into an overtime. The Rottweilers fought hard and showed great character. Victor Sanders, Jakub Garbacz and Luke Petrasek were really good in the additional time. When Janari Joesaar made two shots from the free throw line, Anwil took the lead (93:92). The opponents did not respond and eventually Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's player won!
Victor Sanders was Anwil's best scorer. The shooting guard had 23 points, nine fouls drawn, five assists, three rebounds and a steal.
