Legia Warszawa defeated Anwil Włocławek 77:71 in the second game of the semifinal. The Rottweilers fought hard throughout the game to reduce the difference, but unfortunately failed to do so.
Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players started really slowly. They had only three points in the first quarter – they had problems with their rhythm and controlling the situation (19 turnovers overall).
Everyone knew, that the task won’t be easy, but the Rottweilers fought hard. At some point (in the fourth quarter) the opponents were even only three points in front of Anwil (72:69). Unfortunately, the rivals responded with good efficiency and won the second game of the semifinal.
James Bell was Anwil’s best scorer. The small forward had 18 points, three assists and rebounds, a block and a steal.
