It was a show of strength of Anwil Włocławek! The Rottweilers outclassed Twarde Pierniki Toruń in the first game of the quarterfinals. The team won the second half 50:16 – and the whole game 92:62!
Great atmosphere and few thousand people waiting for the first game – it was visible, that the play-offs are coming. Anwil’s leaders had some problems with fouls in the first half, but Kyndall Dykes was on fire (both offensively – 15 points – and defensively).
The second half brought a big change. The Rottweilers were flying – they made 19:2 run in the third quarter and built the difference. In the fourth quarter Przemysław Frasunkiewicz’s players were almost perfect – they won this part 24:4 and the whole game with astonishing advantage (30 points - 92:62)!
Jonah Mathews was Anwi’s best scorer. The point guard had 21 points, three assists, rebounds and a steal.
